The Fondazione Musica per Roma manages the spaces and activities of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone and the Casa del Jazz, two of the most important performance venues in Rome. With a broad and varied programme of events, ranging from cultural events and talks on various topics to concerts of classical music, pop, rock and jazz, as well as cinema premieres and stage performances, art exhibitions and literary performances, our audience numbers exceed one million each year.
Fondazione Musica per Roma was established on 19 July 2004, changing its original corporate name from the joint stock company that was set up in 1999. Legally this was the first major transformation of a joint stock company into a Foundation that was permitted under the reform of the new company law. Part-owned by Rome Municipal Council, the Chamber of Commerce and the Region of Lazio, the Fondazione Musica per Roma pursues specific objectives in line with its Industrial Plan 2021-2024: promoting culture and the Italian character, the involvement of diverse audiences and young people, artistic innovation, and environmental and economic sustainability.
Fondazione Musica per Roma has launched a project of international partnerships to create a supranational network of cultural organisations involving several different performance venues in Europe. All the centres in the network have, like the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, a broad-ranging programme with multiple auditoriums housed within contemporary architectural structures built between the late 20th and the 21st centuries.
The spaces of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone or the Casa del Jazz in Rome can be used to organize concerts, conventions and conferences, meetings or company presentations, film shows, private dinners and cocktails, workshops, concerts, showcase events, and film and video shoots.
